Premium Pearl Movie
In March 2011, Premium Pearl was contacted by Edward Mooney Jr., the acclaimed author of the beautifully touching novel “The Pearls of The Stone Man”. He asked Iris Lee, our President, if she would be interested in designing the signature pearl necklace for the movie being made from the book. After reading and being touched by this wonderful book, Iris got to work and intuitively came up with what Edward called “the perfect magical necklace…. beyond my expectations.”
According to Iris, “it was an honor and privilege to be able to be a part of this wonderful story. The book was so moving and transformational. It really touches your heart”.
Premium Pearl also did an interview with Edward Mooney in April 2011. Iris presented him with her special custom designed “Stone Man” Pearl necklace. The word special doesn’t even begin to describe the magic that filled the room and the touching words that were spoken. Edward described his heart-felt emotions:” I saw a photo of the pearl necklace, but it was something different to hold it and feel the warmth and coolness of the pearls. It was magical to me – a piece of my novel had jumped off of the pages and into my hand. I am just a writer, not a “glamorous” man. I’m someone who connects words on paper, and you brought me into a world of beauty that I am not used to..”
The book, which has been turned into a screenplay and is in development to be made into a movie, is in its final stages.
